Luton Airport Drop Off & Pick Up Options
*Please note: Following a car fire in Terminal Car Park 2, the Drop Off Zone is now operating out of the Mid Stay Car Park. You can only turn up and pay on the day in the Long Stay Car park. You can still park in Terminal Car Park 1 or the Mid Stay Car Park for longer, but you will need to pre-book this online before arriving at the airport or you won't be able to gain access to the car park.
Luton Long Stay Car Park
A great option if you'd like a little longer to say your goodbyes! Just a 10-minute shuttle ride from the terminal, enjoy 1 hour's FREE parking within Luton's Long Stay Car Park. Shuttle buses run frequently and are, on average, every 20 minutes.
Mid Stay Car Park
Following a car fire in Terminal Car Park 2, the Drop Off Zone is now operating out of the Mid Stay Car Park. Dropping off is FREE for 30 minutes! Shuttle buses are running between the car park and the terminal building, or it's just a 10-minute walk to the terminal.
If you require assistance getting to and from the terminal building, please advise a member of staff who will direct you to a shuttle service. Please be aware that vehicles must not be left unattended in the Drop Off Zone.
Terminal Car Park 1
If you'd like to drop off a passenger as close to the terminal as possible then Terminal Car Park 1 could be the ideal solution. As one of four official cark parks at London Luton Airport, Terminal Car Park 1 is located just a 4-minute walk from the terminal.
Dropping off or picking up in an Electric Vehicle?
Drivers of electric vehicles (EVs) will pay £1.00 for a drop-off or pick-up of up to 30 minutes by parking in the dedicated EV spaces on level 2 of the Terminal Car Park 1 and taking their parking ticket to the Priority Parking Office on the same floor to have their ticket validated. This discount applies to 100% electric vehicles only, and not to hybrids.
Stays beyond 30 minutes are not discounted, and the discount will not be applied to the first 30 minutes of a stay longer than this time. There is also a maximum of eight hours charging in the actual charging bays.
