On the day of your stay you can park in the public car park next to the hotel, it'll cost £4 for 24 hours parking. In the morning drive to the Britannia Country House where your car will remain while you're away; once you've parked up you can jump on the free transfer shuttle to the terminal. This should take about 20 minutes and runs every 45 minutes
More Info: The friendly Britannia Ashley is a convenient stopover a little further from the airport to help you get a good night's sleep. The rooms are a little dated but they're still clean and comfortable and have everything you need to get a good night's sleep.
In the morning you can head down to the restaurant for a hearty breakfast buffet of full English items as well as lighter bites; if you book this with reception when you check. The lunch and dinner menu is a little limited but there's enough simple dishes to suit most appetites.

More Info: The Britannia Stockport is a great place for a budget stopover without skimping on facilities, you'll be able to enjoy access to the on-site fitness centre which includes a gym, swimming pool and even a sauna to help you unwind after a day of travel. The rooms are clean and comfortable with free WiFi (although we've been told it's slower in some rooms) and a large comfortable bed to sink into.
When it's time to rise and shine you can head down to the restaurant and tuck into a hearty and delicious breakfast buffet. In the evening there is a menu of traditional English meals including roast dinners as well as lighter bites.
