Holiday Inn Ariel
The three star Holiday Inn Ariel is a breath of fresh air amongst the other Heathrow Airport hotels, thanks to its impressive circular design. If you're partial to a bit of planespotting, the south-facing rooms look directly out onto the runway.
The Holiday Inn Heathrow Ariel is also surprisingly quiet despite it being 10 minutes away from the airport. Rooms are comfy and full of space to ensure you get a great night's sleep.
Heathrow Airport Transfers and Parking
The packages on offer at the Holiday Inn Ariel are: Parking at the Hotel and Blue Circle Parking Meet and Greet.
Parking at the Hotel includes parking at the Holiday Inn Ariel for the duration of your holiday. You get to keep hold of your keys whilst you're away too.
Blue Circle Parking Meet and Greet includes parking at the hotel overnight (inc. in price) with Meet and Greet parking for the whole time you're away. When you arrive back, the Meet and Greet chauffeur will drop your car back to you.
Getting to the Airport:
From the Hotel: you can get to Heathrow Airport either via the free public bus or the Heathrow Hoppa shuttle bus.
Public Bus: for T2 and T3 take buses 105, 111, 140 and 285. The airport is a short walk away from all terminals. For T4, we recommend getting the Heathrow Hoppa shuttle bus. For T5, take the 423 bus from from Stop J, and the main T5 entrance is a 4 minute walk away.
Heathrow Hoppa Shuttle: runs regularly from the hotel to the airport. For T2 and T3 you need to get the H6 - the first bus from T2 is at 4.42am and runs every 20-30 minutes until 11.34pm. From T3, the first bus leaves at 4.37am and runs every 20 minutes until 11.29pm. For T4 and T5 you need to catch the H56 bus. The first one leaves T4 at 5.00am and runs every 30 minute until 11.30pm. From T5, the first bus is at 4.44am running every 30 minutes until 11.14pm.
Heathrow Hoppa tickets bought in advance cost £4.50 for a single, and £8.00 for a return. On the day tickets are £5.00 for a single and £9.00 for a return. Up to two children aged 15 and under travel free with a paying adult.
Rooms
The Holiday Inn has 184 guest rooms on three floors, with a choice of double, twin, family and executive rooms. All rooms have vibrant, fresh interiors as well as blackout curtains to ensure you get a good night's sleep. Under 18s stay for free if sharing a room with their parents.
Rooms come with: free WiFi, flat screen TV, pillow menu, air conditioning, tea & coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and room service (£3.00 tray charge).
Check-In: from 2.00pm. Check-out: by 12.00pm.
Dining
There's one on-site restaurant at the hotel, The Junction Restaurant which serves breakfast and dinner, there's also a bar which serves snacks all day. For dinner, mains cost around £15.00 - 20.00 and include meals such as grilled steak, curries, fish pie and more. The restaurant is open for dinner from 6.00pm - 10.30pm.
For breakfast, a hot breakfast buffet is served from 6.00am - 10.30am Monday to Friday (6.00am - 11.00am at the weekends) and includes bacon, eggs, sausages, beans and more.
If you don't feel like venturing out your room, no worries as room service is available 24 hours a day.
