This hotel is great if you love watching the planes as it looks across the Terminal 5 runway; the hotel even has a restaurant with these views too! Our favourite thing about this hotel, without a doubt, is its one-of-a-kind POD shuttle transfers. The coolest transfers ever!

Heathrow Airport Transfers and Parking

The package on offer at the Thistle Heathrow is: Parking at the Hotel.

Parking at the Hotel includes parking at the Thistle T5 for the whole of your holiday. The car park is monitored by CCTV, regular security patrols, and has fencing and floodlighting.

Getting to the Airport:

From the Hotel: you can either get the 5 minute POD Shuttle to T5 which is £5.00 per person each way. The POD car park is right next to the hotel. We advise that to get to the other terminals, take the POD to T5 then catch the free Heathrow Express to your terminal.

Terminal 2 - 15 mins

Terminal 3 - 15 mins

Terminal 4 - 10 mins to T5

Terminal 5 - 5 mins

You can also hop on the Heathrow Hoppa bus from outside the Thistle; this goes to all terminals and costs £4.50 each way.

Rooms

The Thistle Heathrow has 264 rooms, and its prime location means you can have a great night's sleep whilst being only minutes from the terminals. Rooms have been triple glazed to keep out any airport noise and come with air conditioning so you can get the temperature just right. Most guest rooms are a standard double, with twin and triple room options also available.

Rooms come with: flatscreen TV, free WiFi, iron, ensuite bathroom, hairdryer, tea & coffee maker, room service.

Dining

The swanky First Edition Restaurant is a sophisticated eatery with panoramic views of the runway, which is only a few hundred metres away. When the weather's nice, you can dine outside on the big outdoor patio - although it can get a little noisy. On the menu are classic meals with a trendy twist, such as steak with mushrooms and chicken breast with pea and broad bean risotto.

Breakfast is served in the First Edition restaurant and is a Full English and continental spread. If you have a super early flight, you can order a breakfast box to take with you instead.

Accessibility

The Thistle T5 is accessible, with an accessible ground floor five accessible bays at the hotel entrance. Please note that there are no lifts or fully-accessible rooms but the ground floor rooms can be reached by wheelchair.
