The RamadaThe Ramada Hotel near Stansted is long overdue a makeover - and a deep clean. I'd read reviews about mould in rooms. I'm afraid they were true. I would not stay there again

The RamadaHotel was grubby. Stayed twice in different rooms. Both had black mould in walls. Wish I’d read reviews so I’d have chosen a different hotel. Parking was superb.

The RamadaCar park didn’t have buses running from all stops. Was impossible to tell where to go. Hotel room stank of mildew and had no temperature control. Bed was uncomfortable. Literally nothing good to say about the whole experience.

The RamadaWe were bitten by flees in the hotel room. The room had not been cleaned properly there were items left in the the shower which looked like it had just been used. The hotel staff moved us to another room. When we got to our destination in Sweden flees were jumping out of our cases. When we returned a week later to the Ramada hotel the staff had not been informed of the flees so we assume they are still there. When we picked our car up it seemed we had made a mistake when booking the parking even though I put in the flight number the end time was am instead of pm and we were charged another £21.50 even though to person we spoke to on the intercom said it was a common mistake.

The RamadaAlthough the manager was very apologetic and quick to change our allocated room to one that had been cleaned properly, more attention to cleanliness and supplies ie milk for drinks are needed.

The RamadaThe hotel room was cramped with a double bed with a spare bed which we did not need. As a result there was hardly any space to move about
