Terminal layout
Bristol Airport has one main terminal, which makes planning your trip through the terminal all the easier. The terminal is well equipped and spread across three floors. Arrivals and check-in desks are located on the ground floor, security and the departure lounge is located on the first floor and a food court is available on the upper mezzanine.
Terminal map
A map of the terminal is available on Bristol Airport's website.
Check-in
Check-in is located on the ground floor. Upon entering the terminal, please refer to the screens for information on where to check in. It is recommended that you arrive at check-in at least two hours before the scheduled departure of your flight. However, this should be double checked with your airline, as check-in times may vary depending on your destination.
Leisure and family facilities
Baby-changing
Baby-changing facilities are located throughout the terminal, within or near the ladies' toilets.
Pushchairs
It is not a problem to take your pushchair through security but you will need to take your baby out of it while the pushchair is screened or examined.
Please be aware that if your flight is boarding at Gates 8 and 16 there is a flight of stairs to deal with.
Baby milk
It is now possible to take more than the standard 100ml of baby milk and food through security, provided that the amount is suitable for the length of your journey.
A Boots store is located at Bristol Airport, selling everything you need for your trip, from suncare and toiletries to vitamins and medicines. You can stock up on baby milk if you're travelling with your little one and Boots run a pre-order service where you can 'Click and Collect' what you need prior to your flight. At checkout on their website, choose the Bristol Airport store after security to collect your items (such as milk and nappies) immediately after clearing the security checkpoint. This is a great time and stress saver for young families!
Information desk
You will find the airport information desk on the ground floor opposite the check-in desks and next to WHSmith.
Shopping
There's a variety of shops for food or travel essentials including (before Security) an WHSmith and M&S Simply Food. After Security, there is a World Duty Free and you will find Boots for toiletries and baby products, Accessorize for holiday hats and jewellery, InMotion for all travel technology essentials and JD Sports - ideal for picking up last-minute holiday footwear. There's also The Bookshop at WHSmiths, perfect for picking up a novel to immerse yourself in onboard your flight, or whilst soaking up the sunshine on the beach once you've arrived at your destination.
These shops should be open at whatever time you are travelling through Bristol Airport.
Opening times are from the scheduled departure of the first flight to the scheduled departure of the last flight.
Food & drink
Fancy a coffee while you're checking-in? You will find a choice of two cafes before Security - Caffe Ritazza and Caffe Nero. After Security, you will find a range of cafes, bars and restaurants including Brigg & Stow Bar and Kitchen, Burger King, Frankie & Benny's, Cabin, Soho Coffee Co, Starbucks, Tortilla and Soul & Grain.
Bristol Airport has a number of food and drink options if you are travelling with children, with the majority of restaurant facilities providing high chairs and offering baby food and milk warming facilities. Just ask a member of staff for details.
