At the airport
Arriving at the airport means your trip has officially begun. You’ve dropped your car off with the airport parking service, walked or bussed it into the terminal and now you’re in departures. If you’re jetting off on holiday it’s an exciting time, but it can be a bit stressful.
It’s our job at Purple Parking to help your trip go without a hiccup, so we’ve compiled some helpful travel advice all about what to do at the airport. From checking in through to navigating Heathrow security and finding something to eat, we cover it all.
Waiting at the airport can either be loads of fun or really tedious depending on how you look at it. Most airport terminals have a great range of shops to indulge in some pre-flight retail therapy (just beware of your airline’s hand luggage restrictions) and an ample selection of bars and restaurants, so you can chill out and grab a meal or a couple of drinks to get you into the holiday mood.
When you’re travelling on business you can take advantage of the airport’s facilities for people just like you, and make the most of your time waiting at the airport. Maintain your connection with the office, hide away in a lounge or work from one of the coffee shops, it’s up to you.
