That first class feeling
Travel can be a stressful experience, so why not lessen any additional worries by living it up as a VIP? Not only will this make your holiday that much easier, but it will be sure to impress your friends too! Get those oversized sunglasses at the ready, as we take you through how to get that first class feeling.
Nice to meet (and greet) you
Your VIP experience doesn’t necessarily have to wait until you get on the plane… As soon as you’re on airport territory, any inklings of stress can now fade away as you’re met by your very own chauffeur (no, really!).
Kick start your VIP holiday experience by using our Meet and Greet parking service, where queues are now a thing of the past. You can cruise through arrivals upon your return, safe in the knowledge that your personal chauffeur has left your car at the terminal all ready for you to head back home.
Lounge around
Take yourself out of the crowded airport chaos by booking an airport lounge, so you can unwind in both comfort and peace for up to three hours before your flight. Lounges offer a varied selection of complimentary drinks, snacks, magazines and newspapers, as well as TV, free Wi-Fi, and lots of other entertainment facilities.
Be a priority
Who doesn’t like being a first priority in life? The same applies to flying! Such a small thing makes a big difference to your travel experience, and it isn’t expensive. Low-cost airlines such as EasyJet and Ryanair only charge around £10 for priority boarding when booked in advance.
Add allocated seating on top on this, and you’re on your way to living the VIP dream. Unless you’re already going to enjoy a comfy and spacious pod in First Class (lucky you!), why not choose your own comfortable seat for a small additional cost?
Don’t be afraid to upgrade
Whilst sometimes this is down to being very lucky, sometimes you have to be a bit forthcoming in your approach - especially if you’re going on an extra special holiday! Don’t be afraid to ask staff if there’s any room in other classes, you may just get what you’re wishing for.
Did you know that you’re more likely to receive an upgrade if you’ve been delayed, so it’s worth asking just in case there are seats available. Particularly if the airline owes you a token of kindness!
Reap the benefits
Are you a frequent flyer? You may be missing out on exclusive rewards from your collection of points - such as discounted (or even free!) flights, free upgrades and hotel discounts. It may be worth checking your paperwork beforehand to get the most out of your points and get you on your way to becoming the ultimate VIP.
You can also reap the benefits at hotels, especially if you’re jetting off in the off-peak season. For instance, if for some reason you’re unhappy with anything, you can go about asking for an upgrade.
