Terminal layout
Prestwick Airport near Glasgow consists of one terminal, which makes travelling through the airport very simple. The airport is open from 4am until 45 minutes after the last scheduled flight.
Check-in
The check-in desks are located on the ground floor opposite the main terminal entrance. As a general rule, it is recommended that you check in three hours prior to an international departure, two hours prior to a European departure and 90 minutes before a domestic departure. You should check this information on your ticket or with your airline.

Baby-changing
Baby-changing facilities are available in all toilets throughout Prestwick airport.
Pushchairs
Pushchairs can be taken through security. However, please be ready to remove your baby for a few minutes while the pushchair is put through the screening x-ray.
Baby milk
It is now possible to take more than the standard 100ml of baby food through security, provided that the milk is for the sole purpose of your journey. WHSmith supply baby essentials including formula milk.

Prestwick Airport's information desk is located on the ground floor of the Arrivals Hall.
Shopping
At Prestwick Airport, you can purchase a range of tax free items such as perfume, cosmetics, accessories, tobacco, alcohol and jewellery in the Nuance Duty Free Shop. Passengers travelling within the EU can make the most of the Shop and Collect service. Simply leave the tax free goods, along with your details at the airport and you can collect them from the Welcome Desk on your return. Visitors can also shop at WHSmith for magazines, books, papers and snacks.
Food & drink
Before security, passengers can enjoy or drinks and hot food at McIntyres bar. Once in the departures lounge, the Elvis Presley Bar is a fun restaurant option with full table service for hot meals and sandwiches, as well as drinks from around the world.
Business facilities
Meeting rooms
The Aviator Suite at Prestwick Airport is available for hire for conferences and events for anything from 60 to 200 people. The private lounge bar offers a range of buffet menus on request.
Getting online and staying connected
Prestwick Airport offers two hours free Wi-Fi to all passengers, provided by Arqiva. Simply turn on your wireless-enabled device, choose the wireless network 'select_Free Airport WiFi' and follow instructions in your browser. Any additional Wi-Fi access is charged at a maximum of £3 per hour. Alternatively, you can use one of the airport's internet kiosks in the departure lounge and next to McIntyres in the main terminal. You can also charge your mobile phone from these kiosks at no extra cost.
Special assistance
If you require special assistance when travelling through Prestwick Airport, this should be booked directly with your airline or travel agent a minimum of 48 hours before flying. Upon arrival at the airport, inform staff that you require assistance and they will ensure passengers are fast-tracked through check-in and security with maximum support.
